Real conversations, without judgement

I’m an integrative therapist based in Manchester. I work online with adults across the UK. Therapy is for anyone who wants time and space to talk about life’s challenges, whether you feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply in need of a place to pause and reflect.

This first image reflects what counselling often looks like in practice. Conversation. Listening. Being heard without stigma or apology. Much of my work centres on men and fathers who want an equal, grounded space to explore identity, relationships, fatherhood or grief. Therapy does not need to feel clinical. It is about connection, honesty and being yourself.

An opportunity to unload and unpack

We all carry things. Responsibilities. Family pressures. Relationship struggles. Old wounds or painful memories of loss. For many men and fathers, what they carry is often invisible and held behind the expectation to stay strong or cope alone.

Counselling offers a chance to put some of that weight down. Together we can unpack what you are carrying, piece by piece, and find healthier, more sustainable ways forward. This is a space to feel lighter, supported and understood.

Therapy can be for anyone

Many people, especially men, tell me they never imagined counselling was for them until they realised it was simply about feeling respected, supported and given room to talk openly.

Whether you are juggling family life, navigating bereavement, adjusting to change, or dealing with stress, anxiety or relationship difficulties, therapy can offer clarity and perspective. My integrative and trauma-informed approach adapts to what you need. Sometimes this begins with practical problem solving. Other times it involves deeper emotional exploration. Therapy is not about being told what to do. It is about being heard, understood, and finding your own way.

What does counselling involve?

Counselling is not about fixing people. It is about creating a safe, grounded space where adults, men, fathers and families can reflect, grow and reconnect with what matters most.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are held online or in person in Manchester. The fee is £60. I also offer a small number of low-cost places at £25 for people experiencing financial difficulty because support should be accessible.

If you are looking for counselling in Manchester, or online across the UK, whether for men’s wellbeing, fatherhood, grief, bereavement, neurodiversity or general mental health, I offer a supportive place to begin that conversation.
