The Counsellor Hub
Resources for Trainee & Newly Qualified Counsellors
Looking for counselling?
The Counsellor Hub is primarily for trainee and newly qualified counsellors. If you're looking for counselling support, you can explore counselling here.
Why I Created The Counsellor Hub
When I was training, I often found myself searching across dozens of websites looking for practical resources, honest reflections and answers to questions that didn't always seem to be covered in the classroom.
Since qualifying, building my own practice and supporting clients, I've continued writing the kind of resources I wish I'd had access to myself — grounded, practical and honest reflections on becoming a counsellor.
Whether you're looking for clinical ideas, professional development, private practice guidance or simply reassurance that you're not the only one finding parts of the journey difficult, I hope this hub helps.
Who This Hub Is For
The Counsellor Hub is for you if you're:
Beginning your counselling training
Preparing for placement
Approaching qualification
Starting or growing your private practice
Developing your confidence, professional identity or writing
Personal Therapy for Trainee Counsellors
Personal therapy is an important part of most counselling training and often becomes one of the most valuable parts of the journey.
I offer reduced-rate personal therapy (£40 per 50-minute session) for trainee and newly qualified counsellors, both online across the UK and in person in Manchester.
